We had organised a day trip to the country by train to visit Megan and James who live at Tunbridge Wells, located in Kent south of London.  It took about 50 minutes by train.

A sizable town of around 40 thousand in the town itself.  Tunbridge Wells was famous for a natural spring.

Megan and James are both chefs so our lunch at their apartment was delicious and we had a lovely day walking through the town and driving through some of the narrow lanes in the country.

The trip to the country has inspired us to revisit England again to travel and explore the regional areas.
