It all started in 2016.
We met.
We clicked.
We started planning a life together.
Simple, really.

Pretty quickly, we realised we shared more than just a love of each other. We shared a love of the world: its food, its culture, its adventures. And so began this chapter of our lives that proves travel isn’t just for the young, it’s for anyone curious, adventurous, and willing to explore life fully. Who said the 60s can’t be the new 40s? Probably us.
Now, well over 60, we’re still on the journey. We’re those “oldies” who laugh a lot, who’ve weathered life’s ups and downs, heartbreaks, and everything in between, and come through with our humour intact and a deep gratitude for the lessons along the way.
What keeps us inspired, and what this blog is all about, is healthy, slow travel.
We don’t rush. We immerse ourselves in local cultures, savour every bite of food that nourishes and pay attention to what keeps us feeling good and maintaining our health even while away from home.
As a naturopath, I bring a lens of wellness to our adventures. You’ll find insights on travelling well into older age, tips for staying healthy on the move and ideas for exploring the world without compromising your energy, health or vitality.
We created this space first for ourselves and second, for our family, friends and fellow travellers, so we can share our stories, cheesy photos and a reminder that life is serious enough already.
Our hope is that, as you read along, you’ll be inspired to explore, travel slowly, eat well, laugh more, and embrace your own adventures – because life, at any age, is for living well.
